Cocoa Blend palette. So, I was super excited when I received the Matte Eyeshadow Palette in the mail. Inspired by the calmness and beauty of a night stroll through the silent streets of a sleeping city, this palette offers a versatile range of 10 matte colours with shades ranging from gorgeous beige tones to deep burgundy and muted red.
The palette itself is made of a sturdy black matte cardboard packaging with a white print design of a city that continues inside the palette. I absolutely love this design! Just like any other Zoeva palette that I have tried, these eyeshadows are highly pigmented and blend very easily. The formula of the eyeshadows is enriched with vitamin E and is 100% free of parabens, mineral oils and perfume. This palette includes ten beautiful, mostly warm toned shades and I love how wearable these colours are for everyday use. I think this palette is such a great basic palette to have in your collection as you can create so many gorgeous matte looks with it.
Nightwalks: A light, yellow toned beige with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation is really good with a smooth texture that applies well on the lid and doesn't sheer out too easily.
Urban Culture: A muted, medium brown with warm, yellow undertones and a matte finish. The texture is also very smooth and finely-milled and applies very opaque on the lid.
Through The Window: A beautiful vibrant orange shade with warm undertones and a matte finish. It is also richly pigmented with a smooth, finely-milled texture that applies very well to the skin and is super blendable.
Cheap Bar: A muted, reddish brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The shade has a subtle sheen to it though, which makes it not as matte as the other shades. The colour payoff is also rich and opaque with a silky soft and blendable texture.
Lost In Thoughts: A light, medium brown with warm, yellowish undertones and a matte finish. This eyeshadow has a great pigmentation and applies evenly on the lid. The texture is soft without being powdery and blends out with ease.
Across the Street: A soft, yellow with a matte finish. The pigmentation is not as opaque as the other colours but buildable to full coverage. The eyeshadow feels smooth and applies easily.
Eerily Empty: A muted, medium brown with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. Opaque coverage with a smooth, velvety texture.
Chat late at Night: A rich, medium-dark reddish copper with warm undertones and a matte finish. It is highly pigmented, easy to blend and long-wearing.
Lonely City: A deep, reddish plum with warm undertones and a matte finish. The pigmentation is semi-opaque but it's buildable to full coverage in two layers.
Two Clocks: A deep, taupe brown with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and let me know what you think about this new palette in the comments below!
