Bronzed Skin & Hot Pink Lips25 August 2015
Hey guys, today I wanted to share a makeup look that I've been wearing almost everyday for the past few days. I haven't posted anything makeup related in a while now - sincere apologies for that folks! I didn't bring all my blogging equipment with me on this holiday (I miss my Canon and tripod) but more makeup looks and beauty related posts (including the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette review) will come very soon when I'm back home! As for now, I really hope you enjoy this post!
Let's start off with the skin! I applied a thin layer of the 100% Pure Healthy Skin Foundation in peach bisque - now, I absolutely love this foundation, it's like the name reveals made with 100% natural ingredients, without any synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances & colours, harsh detergents or any other unhealthy toxins. This foundation has medium coverage and a really good staying power - exactly what you need in hot and humid weather. After that, I moved onto applying my new favourite concealer the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade 15. I like this concealer because it has amazing coverage and doesn't crease under my eyes + it's an absolute bargain! As much as I love high end makeup, it's always nice finding products from the drugstore that I really like or even prefer over some high end products. (pretty good for my bank account too)
Next up, for that nice bronzed glow I used the Nars Laguna Bronzer on my cheeks and a little bit of MAC Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle to highlight my cheek bones, bridge of my nose and cupids bow. This is such a lovely highlighter and if you haven't got around to try it I highly recommend it. Moving onto eyes, I used the original Urban Decay Naked Palette to be more precise, the shade Buck in my crease and Half Baked all over the lid - I absolutely adore this combination! The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is not waterproof, or at least I didn't use the waterproof version and I was so impressed with the staying power! It didn't smudge and lasted all day in 35°C.
And finally, I applied my favourite lipstick the Clinique Pop Lipsticks in the shade Punch Pop. These lipsticks quickly became a must have product for me, I adore the formula - They never cling to dry patches and I also find that these lipsticks are quite hydrating, even after they dry down to a satin finish. Punch Pop literally screams Summer!
