I have lost count of how many times I have ended up with terrible skin while on holiday because I spent too long in the sun, constantly forget to moisturise and just don't really stay hydrated. This year our holidays are going to be different because we are looking at some tips and tricks that will help your skin feel and look fabulous. It's actually very easy to keep your skin in great condition by following these simple steps in your daily routine. I really hope you guys enjoy this post and find it helpful.

STAY HYDRATED
It's important to stay hydrated all year round but even more so in the Summer. You will find people telling you to drink a specific amount of water per day, but I think it completely depends on the individual and how active they are. When I'm on holiday though, I sometimes completely forget to drink enough water because I'm always on the go, so I try to keep a huge water bottle in my bag. I think that drinking enough water is actually the best thing you can do for your skin and body.

USE GENTLE SKINCARE
When I'm on holiday, I like to keep my skincare as simple as possible. The Bioderma Atoderm Shower Gel* is a lovely, rich foaming cleanser which is suitable for very sensitive skin. Softens and protects your skin while being gentle on your skins natural pH level. I love this product for traveling because it can be used on both, face and body so it works as an awesome two in one product. I don't get a tight feeling and my skin feels very nourished after every use. Sticking with nourishing and hydrating products, to remove my makeup in the evenings I like to use the Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water* I've mentioned this product in one of my recent posts and the love is still going strong. It removes my makeup perfectly leaving my skin so soft and hydrated.

GO MAKEUP FREE
There are so many reasons for going makeup free especially when you're on holiday. The heat from the sun tends to cause our makeup to run, smudge and mysteriously disappear from our face anyway so I like to embrace my natural skin as much as I can. I think it's nice to give your skin a break and I've noticed that the sun in combination with the salty water from the sea really helps to keep my skin healthy and clear from breakouts.

USE SUNSCREEN
Now, the sun is actually very beneficial for our skin but it can be potentially dangerous if not treated with caution. As you guys know, I'm a huge fan of Biodermas skincare ranges and they also have this amazing range of products to protect your skin from the sun. I'm currently using the Bioderma Photoderm Max 50+ Fluid* and I love how lightweight it is and how quickly is absorbs into the skin. This fluid is perfect for my sensitive skin, it's got a lovely anti-shine texture, is water resistant and even prevents sun intolerance reactions. Another amazing product I got to try out over the past few weeks is the Bioderma Photoderm Bronz SPF 50 Spray* The formula of this spray works to protect your skin against nasty sunburns, sun intolerance and premature ageing while intesifiying your natural tan. It's suitable for both, your face and body. For some reason, we all like to think that we don't tan properly while wearing sunscreen but this spray is specifically designed to intensify and prolong your natural tan.
