I absolutely love having a pamper evening every now and then, I think it's so important to have some time for yourself to relax and completely unwind from the world. Having just an hour at home can be just as relaxing and beautifying as a day spent somewhere expensive. So today I wanted to share my quick and easy at home spa routine and if you feel in need of a spa day but your bank account suggests otherwise, I hope you'll find this post helpful.

SET THE MOOD
Jumping right into a treatment can be difficult sometimes so I always like to prepare my bathroom with candles and some relaxing music before I start my spa day routine. So, dim the light, light some candles and get your mind and mood into the spa zone!

TAKE A BATH & EXFOLIATE
Taking baths is my absolute favourite treat after a long, stressful day. I usually put a few Lush bath bombs or bubble bars into the water to make it look all fun and pretty but as of late, I've been really enjoying using the Kneipp Herbal Bath Oils. They make my skin incredibly smooth and really help me to relax and unwind. When I'm in the bath, I like to exfoliate my body with a sugar or coffee scrub as it prepares the skin perfectly for your facial mask.

DEEP CLEAN YOUR SKIN
Getting regular facials is so important and can make a huge difference in the appearance of your skin. My perfect spa day at home always includes a steam bath, generally followed by a clay face mask. This is one of my favourite treatments when my skin is looking extra dull. I also like to add a few drops of tea tree oil to the hot water to combat my breakouts.
