I treated myself to a few new skincare products from First Aid Beauty last month when Feelunique had their massive summer sale. I wanted to try this brand for such a long time now so I was most excited to get my hands on these products for such a good price. I decided to get a few bits from their Skin Rescue and Ultra Repair range because I thought that they suited my skin type the best - turns out that his was the best decision! I really hope you guys and enjoy this post and let me know if you've tried any of these products before!

I've always been a fan of gel cleaners because they work best with my Foreo Luna Mini. This foaming cleanser contains red clay to absorb impurities, detox and purify the skin as well as rosemary leaf oil to unclog the pores and botanical antioxidants. The product inside is a bright red colour that is best to work into damp skin to break down any dirt or makeup. I prefer to use this with my Foreo Luna Mini because it’s far more effective at cleaning your face than your hands or a cloth. This cleanser has worked wonders for my skin since I started using it, I find that it removes excess oils and unclogs the pores around my t-zone perfectly. My skin always feels deeply cleansed after every use and it does help to control outbreaks and reduce sebum production. I highly recommend this product to anyone with oily/combination skin like mine who is looking for an extra deep cleanse.
I always find it weirdly hard to find a moisturizer that works for my skin type. Although I have oily skin, it usually gets really dry after cleansing and feels dehydrated throughout the day. You've probably heard of this products, as it seems to be a cult First Aid Beauty favourite. This is by far the best moisturizer I've ever tried because it hydrates my skin beautifully without leaving an oily residue or sticky feeling on my skin. It is one of those really thick and rich creams that aims to hydrate deep down. For my dehydrated skin, this was exactly what I needed and the thick consistency and hydrating feeling on your skin afterwards is something that I haven’t come across very often. Key ingredients such as olloidal oatmeal, shea butter and soothing eucalyptus oil aim to hydrate and calm the skin while improving the natural barrier function. This truly is a product that deserves cult status and I will definitely repurchase this cream.
