My Haircare Routine for Long, Healthy Hair

If you guys have been following my blog for a while you will know the struggle that I went through with my hair. It all started a few years ago when I decided to go blonde. You know with that cute Ashley Benson bob cut and yep - biggest mistake ever! First of all, the colour looked absolutely hideous on me and the bleach completely ruined my hair. All I wanted was to get back my natural hair colour so all I could do was wait for it to grow out. Let's just say - it's been a journey but it's finally come to an end and I'm so happy with my hair again! Today I want to show you all the products I use to keep my hair long and healthy and give you a few tips that work for me.

Now I have tried some pretty awesome hair products recently and I must say I was totally blown away by the Redken All Soft range. Redken products smell absolutely incredible, you basically get that lovely fresh out of the salon smell after every hair wash which I love. Each product from this particular range contains argan-oil to nourish the hair and provide intense softness. They work to maintain the moisture balance to keep the hair silky soft and healthy. The Redken All Soft Shampoo lathers up beautifully leaving my hair and scalp super clean and fresh. The shampoo itself makes my hair so soft! I then apply a small amount of the Redken All Soft Conditioner and leave it in for a couple of minutes before rinsing it out. Each wash leaves my hair free of tangles and actually minimizes the appearance of dry ends. I find this formula so gentle and super nourishing, during washing and after drying. Redken surely never fails to make awesome hair products!

I generally try to only wash my hair 3x a week and I always do a deep clean when I do wash my hair and really massage the shampoo into my scalp. When I’m shampooing, I’m just focusing on the scalp and try not to get too much product on my ends. I find that using the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type makes all the difference. Ideally, I let my hair air dry because I tend to get a little bit more texture that way and of course it's much more gentle. I then apply a little bit of hair oil to add even more shine.
