Peek Inside the Orange Box: Twilly d'Hermès

This is an advertorial in collaboration with Hermès.

There's something so special and luxurious about this orange Hermès box. I couldn't stop staring and smiling at it when I received it in the mail a couple of days ago. Within the orange box I found three bottles of Twilly d'Hermès, lying on a bed of colourful pure silk spaghetti ribbons. Twilly d'Hermès is an homage to the iconic Hermès Twilly scarf that graces the necks, wrists and handbags of women and men worldwide. It's aimed at young women and was inspired by their freedom and creativity. It is with these young women in mind, by observing their lives, smiling at the fun they have, that Hermès have created this beautiful fragrance.

"It is with young women in mind, by observing their lives, that I created Twilly d’Hermès. Free, bold, and irreverent, they swim against the tide, impose their own rhythm, invent a brand new tempo." - Christine Nagel

The Fragrance

I'm in love with this fragrance! The scent for the Hermès girl, a daring fragrance woven with striking ginger and sensual tuberose. It's floral, spicy and oriental. Twilly d'Hermès plays with a twist of three key notes - ginger, tuberose and sandalwood. The first spritz delivers a rich note of ginger blended with a slightly citrus note. The tuberose gives the scent a fresh and vibrant sweetness while the sandalwood however is very muted. There’s nothing like it out there, so unique and different. I fell in love as soon as I sprayed the scent on my skin. And then of course, there's this incredibly cute bottle which shows its inspiration with a hand-tied silk ribbon that is knotted like a scarf around the cap.

Twilly is definitely one of those fragrances that simply puts a smile on your face whenever you wear it. It is a swirl of beautifully aromatic floral and spice notes. Such a captivating scent that takes you right away to the streets of Paris. This is definitely a very unique smell and one I can highly recommend you try. This fragrance is available at
