Eau de Citron Noir by Hermès

This is an advertorial in collaboration with Hermès.

It seems Christine Nagel can do no wrong, successfully creating a new cologne that could possibly rival the original Hermès Eau d'Orange Verte. So today, I'm introducing the latest perfume release by Hèrmes - Eau de Citron Noir*. The scent is described as a striking and explosive vitality of citrus fruits combined with the depth of subtle smoky and woody notes of black lime. The notes are very uplifting and refreshing. One spritz of this cologne and you're surrounded by wonderful clouds of lemon. I'm a big fan of citrusy scents especially in the summer, so when Hermès announced Eau de Citron Noir, I was thrilled.

"Following a path through the olfactory universe of hesperidia led me into a vast world, dotted with surprises, with citrus fruits. Finger lime, Buddha's hand fruit, Eureka lemon... So many unusual varieties of citrus appealed to me, but it was the smoky and distinguished black lime that finally stood out as the key note."

The new fragrance follows other previous editions that were successfully launched and adored by so many people. Eau de Citron Noir is a midday-to-midnight cologne for both men and women. This fragrance is truly beautiful for those days out walking around in your local town, when the sun is shining and you have thrown on your favourite summer dress. There is something so alluring about this fragrance that I absolutely adore wearing it. The bottle of Eau de Citron Noir has a very beautiful modern design and I also love the dark blue colour. It looks very chic on my perfume cabinet.
Overall, I think this is a very easy, fresh and bright scent that has already become my new go-to fragrance. It is definitely a more mature scent that stands out from the crowd with a striking aroma of citrus fruits paired with the smoky, woodsy scent of black lime.

Are you a fan of citrusy scents? What do you think of the new cologne by Hèrmes?
