The All Natural Foundation That Actually Works

Recently I've become more cautious with the makeup products I use on my face. Especially when it comes to my daily makeup routine I want to use products that don't cause any harm to my very sensitive and acne prone skin. My skin has changed a lot over the past few years and it definitely needs a lot more help to look its best than it used to. I find that most foundations are literally filled to the brim with nasty pore clogging ingredients that are the worst for my skin type. I have used 100% Pure before and I loved their Healthy Skin Foundation, that's why I really wanted to try their other foundations as well. After doing a lot of research, I finally decided on their Water Foundation which is just perfect for the winter months. What I love about this brand is that all of their foundations are free of artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives, synthetic dyes and thousands of toxins found in most other products. All products are vegan and cruelty free as well. Read on to find out more about their Fruit Pigmented Water Foundation if you're on the market for new beauty products to switch up your makeup routine for the new year.

My skin tends to get very dehydrated during winter and as a result, becomes even more oily. That's why I wanted to get a hydrating foundation that will give my skin that little bit of extra moisture throughout the day. Luckily, I currently don't have any breakouts to cover up, because this foundation is extremely sheer and feels like nothing on the face. That's something you should keep in mind when choosing the right foundation for you, since their Water Foundation does also come in a full coverage version. I really like the sheer coverage on a daily basis, I'm only looking for something that will even out my skin without clinging to dry patches and this foundation is perfect for that. It lightly conceals imperfections for a flawless finish that looks like skin. This foundation is rich in antioxidant ingredients and anti-aging benefits while calendula, aloe and green tea soothe the skin. I'm wearing the shade Creme and I think it matches my skin tone perfectly.

The formula feels extremely lightweight and is very liquidy. I like to apply this foundation with a damp beauty sponge because it doesn't absorb product like a brush does. I don't think you can apply too much of this product because it looks super natural but the coverage is definitely buildable. However you wont be able to achieve a full coverage look with this foundation. I'd say the finish is quite dewy and healthy looking but I do like to apply a little bit of powder on top to set everything in place. This foundation lasts all day long on my skin without getting patchy at all. My skin feels very hydrated throughout the day and most importantly, it doesn't clog my pores and doesn't cause any irritation or breakouts. This foundation to me even falls in the category of skincare instead of makeup because it is that good for you skin. I would highly recommend checking out 100% Pure if you haven't already, I can't wait to try more of their products in the new year.

Have you guys tried this foundation yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
