A Surprise from Hermès

This is an advertorial in collaboration with Hermès

You guys know how much I adore Hermès fragrances. This year, I was introduced to Twilly, one of their most popular scents and an homage to the iconic Hermès Twilly scarf that graces the necks, wrists and handbags of women and men worldwide. Last week, I received this absolutely incredible surprise package. When I opened the box, pretty pink and white balloons floated up and revealed a little orange paperbag. Inside the bag I found three products from the Twilly Body Care collection, a Moisturising Body Lotion and balm, and a Perfumed Soap. I think this would be the perfect Christmas present for any Twilly-addict so they can can layer up their favourite scent all day. Read on to find out everything about this beautiful collection.

I think we can all agree that it's so important to keep your skin moisturised, especially during the colder months. That's why this collection is so perfect, the Twilly Moisturising Body Lotion is so silky with a very light, absorbent texture. The scent of this lotion focuses on the more floral nuances of Twilly. I love how each product focuses on a different facet of the fragrance - the floral notes being my favourite. This definitely helps to understand the fragrance better. I actually love wearing this body lotion solo, however it's also great for layering with the fragrance to boost longevity.

Sticking to the theme of moisturisers, this collection offers not one, but two body moisturising products. So what’s the difference between the two you might ask? The balm is a lot richer than the body lotion with a thicker formula. I find that it leaves the skin feeling even softer and more moisturised, so I would recommend using this product sparingly in the areas you need it the most. This balm is also a lot smaller, which makes it perfect for traveling or chucking it into your handbag for on-the-go.
Last but not least, we have the Perfumed Soap, which not only offers a beautiful and luxurious experience when washing your hands, but also makes a very good room fragrance due to it's wonderful, rich scent. This soap leaves my bathroom smelling amazing and it's definitely the most fragrant product in the range. You can smell the ginger and tuberose tones and I cannot wait to start using this soap. It is supposed to be very moisturising to prevent your hands from drying out.

What do you guys think? Have you tried this fragrance yet?
